To Bob and Juliana:
 
        My sincerest sympathies on the loss of Malachai.  I know that you
and Juliana cared as much for Malachai throughout his life as you did for
him in this last trying month.  It was my privilege and honor to have met
you and Malachai on your trip down to see Dr. Weiss for Malachai's
exploratory, and I will hope that we will meet again under less unfortunate
circumstances.
