YES! We have a few of them (which happen to be the smartest ones we have)
that will chase them, jump at them, bite them, walk off of the bed, couch,
etc following them. Our others do see them & are only interested for
moments.

Maybe to get the bubbles to last, add more soap?

As a breeder & fuzzy lover, I always recommend an older ferret (1 yr +) for
a first time ferret. Baby ferrets need training, can be nippy, are *very*
active, and adults seem to be a better first ferret. Bonding is an
individual thing and can happen at any age. It can take 2 weeks or even a
year or so for a ferret to bond with you.

Try calling the ASPCA or a local Humane Society or ferret shelter. I am
surprised these ferrets haven't died from heat stroke!
