Hello All,
This is my first post to this wonderful list, although it's a few days late
due to a mild illness. First I'd like to thank the New Hampshire Ferret
Owners Connection for a great time at their Ferret Awareness Days held this
past weekend in Merrimac, NH.. Never having been to any "ferret
get-together", I had no idea what to expect. Well, let me tell ya what a
great time was had by all. There were ferrets everywhere and you had to be
carefull where you stepped! ( For fear of stepping on ferrets, nothing
else!) If you've never been to a ferret day happening, your in for a treat.
Now I can't wait for another. As a bonus, all the proceeds help the area
shelters. Can't think of a better way to spend a day. Second, I'd like to
thank Sukie Crandall for her analogy of FML to a small town.I couldn't
agree more and hope everyone takes it to heart. Your a wonderful group of
people on this list. I've learned SO much for all of you. I too have a
male ferret that has had two adrenal surgeries, the last gland removed was
cancerous and it has spread to his surrounding tissue. Therefore I
understand all too well your worries and hope for all our furkids. Thanks
for all your participation and to let you know when a prayer is asked for
there is one given from here.

Phyllis Taber and
Eben & Sammi, my furbabies
