Not sure where in the country you are, but I recently took two ferts to
petco to get vaccinated, and after spending about an hour in line, was
told that they no longer do fert vaccinations as there have been a lot of
bad reactions.  they recommended taking them to a vet or an animal hospital
so that they can be monitored in case they react badly.  I did this, and
both came through with flying colors.
