I was just reading Dr. Williams "Ferret Pathology Notes" And I got to the
ECE section.

It mentions in the recovery phase, stools take on a birdseed type quality.
My question is, why? And are there other causes of a birdseed type stool?

The reason is, I got shelter ferret not too olong ago, who has the birdseed
type stools. I think I have an ECE free household, and my other ferret has
shown no signs of ECE.

Thanks,
Nathan Viles
