We manufacture the Weezl Watcher Ferret Gates and our claim is that they
work for 99% of ferrets. Those ferrets that get over are exceptional and
they are not necessarily large--just very athletic. We do offer an extra
tall becaue we are ferret realists, but set the standard height at 2 feet
because it is both correct for most ferrets and still easy for a human to
step over. When contacted about a "jumper", we first suggest adding a
temporary extension at the top. It can be plastic, masonite or even
cardboard. When the ferret can no longer get over the gate (with the
extension in place), if often quits trying and soon the extension can
be removed and the ferret no longer tries to jump, even at the original
height. If this fails, we will in any case honor our guarantee with either
a refund, or our extra tall at a small additional charge to cover the
larger model.

100% of the profits from these gates go to support our local ferret
shelter. The gates are produced and marketed solely for this purpose, and
we are proud to offer a product which we know saves many ferret lives.
We have been making and selling these for five years. They were tested
extensively at the shelter and the material was selected for its safety,
flexibility and durability. When you help your ferrets with this gate,
you also help dozens of abandoned ferrets at our shelter. Happy holidays
to all and to their treasured ferrets.
