I've been lurking around this mailer for a few months now, ever since my
little brother and I brow beat our parents into letting finally get a pet.
For years I wasn't allowed one because my mother and I were severely
allergic to cats. That's when I discovered ferrets!! :) It took alot of
convincing and then finally my own job and money, but one day I was visitng
a local pet store, the only one I like because they hire an extremely large
number of employees who /find/ time to play with their animals before they
are sold. When I found my little Jingoro, he was people friendly and very
sweet.

Jingoro is 5 months old now, /just/ getting out of that nippy stage. He
still goes for my mom's ankles, but he's very sweet around me and my
brother. He's a male silver-mitt, or as my vet described, "He's squirrle
colored!" ;)

Jingoro has this one peculiar habit that I find facinationg. Sometimes when
we play, he suddenly lies down for no apparent reason. I mean belly flat to
the carpet. He'd be tearing across the room and then comes to a complete
stop and lies down for about a second, then takes off again. It's weird, he
looks totally adorabe when he does it, but we can't figure out /why/. Any
clues out there? Anyone else have a fuzzykin who dies the same?
