there have been some changes since my post yesterday...

another thing happened during the night...his other ear 'burst'...a bloody
discharge...so i am thinking possibly BOTH his ears were/are infected...

charlie DID drink water from his water dish on his own both last night and
this morning...and he IS hungry...was not nearly as difficult this morning
to syringe feed him...and it DID look as though he ate some of his regular
food on his own last night...at least he moved some of the pieces
around...:)

will call the vet in a few with the updates...**

so..it seems a little brighter this morning...but i have had the nice
bright morning turn into a black day before...but for now...i will accept
the happy side...:)

HUGS!
kat

**called him...he is surprised by the bilateral inner ear infections...
but that probably explains his head 'listing' to the 'wrong' side... he
says we have the right anti-biotic for it anyway...and to still keep him
from jumping on stuff when he feels better since the inner ear infections
explain the disorientation...but not the hind-end weakness...

Still looking for vets with any other ideas to talk to my vet and see if
we can get charlie all better...
