To Amy and Christopher,
 
I have met few high and mighty ferret owners in Calif. a bunch of ferret
felons and a big bunch of ferret freedom fighters... and mostly all were
pretty nifty folks... I too read the post that said FORGET it... and decided
who deserved the love of a fuzzy..with dismay..  I know better than that
foolish statement... The best way to convert anyone is to expose them to a
ferret for a while..  that usually does it right there... I regret any
offense taken and hope everyone in our country and on this list will
understand that judgement was one persons and only one persons... a very far
cry from a minority of even two or three... As we all know fuzzys choose us
more often than not... and critters are pretty good judges of character over
all... I hope this person will get a ferret and learn the joys we all
share... and in due time will fight as we do for our fur kids to be accepted
..  It is most unfair to think we haven't worked many years to obtain the
elusive goal of legalization... if you ever lived in So.  Cal.  you would
see what we have to try to deal with here... and not judge us by rules that
don't apply... I'm sorry if anyone was offended by this persons outburst and
hope none of you will judge us by that one example.  You are better than
that and so are we...
