Hi Y'all,

Well, I survived (once again) a visit from the Petersen's in St. Louis.
OK, more than survived especially with some of Kurt's delicious oatmeal
cookies for dessert.

The visit went very well, as always and the Petersen's had loads of fun
playing with the gang. Miss Pookie sat, in her tie dyed sleep sack, for
quite some time in Sara's lap getting stroked and cooed over.

Kurt got lots of kisses, even from the former weed-eaters aka William and
Harry. I adopted dem fat boys from the Petersen's after they came for
boarding at my house (the Petersen's left them with me during a vacation
since they bit). Of course, I tease Kurt that he keeps adopting biters to
me and they never bite. I like to think it is my warm heart of gold. ;-)

Sara got a first--she got face kisses from Sampson, my reformed face biter.
Ma has not been as relaxed as she would like to be around him, and he
notices. Well, Sara didn't know that was the reformed face biter and when
I noticed that she had him, she was holding him up to her forehead and he
was licking away. This is a case of ignorance being bliss. I think
Sampson loved it. And btw folks, Sampson hasn't bitten me in well over 2.5
years (I don't think he has nailed me since I moved to Missouri over 3
years ago, but so as not to exaggerate).

My two big fat boys, Georgie and Freddie got lots of tummy rubs, even if
they can't war dance very well. They do try, but they have too much
inertia to really get going.

And Sara just kept handing me ferrets to trim nails.

And alas, they didn't bring any of their guys. I called them last night
and warned them off since I have running noses, sneezing and yucky poops
through the house right now.

We all went, with my two boyfriends, out to eat pizza and got stuffed.
sigh. It was a nice time all in all, even if I did buy too many goodies
from the shelter (you know, t-shirts, toys, bags).

I hope everyone had as nice a Sunday as I did. It is always wonderful to
spend it with loving friends.

And don't forget, the Petersen's shelter FURRY has 501C status. hehehehehe.
