I too had an incident when feeding recipe to a ferret.  Years ago I had
one of mine on my lap eating the chicken baby food recipe.  I was taking
my vitamins and accidentally dropped one in the bowl of recipe.  Well, at
that moment I couldn't exactly move so I thought "How bad could it be?".
I reached in and retrieved the vitamin and popped it into my mouth.
Well, let me tell ya, the stuff tastes awful!!!!  Can't for the life of
me see why the kids enjoy it so much, but they do!
 
Had to laugh to hear that someone else had "tasted" it!
