Not ALL Petco's are devil spawn!  In my post previously, I was not trying
to convey that.  I have to say, though, that about 80% of the Petco's I've
been to have been not-so-wonderful in the ferret department.  No, I have
not been to every single one out there, but I have been to quite a few.
 
PetCo should not be singled out just because it is a corporation.  I have
never seen a poor ferret housed in a fish aquarium suffering from muscle
atrophy in the hind legs since he/she has been in that aquarium for 2
years.  I can say this about small pet stores, though.
 
It is upsetting that a place as influential to new ferret owners as
PetCO does not have consistency...that's all.  I wish every person that
participates in selling, adopting, breeding, etc., ferrets was as
knowledgeable as most of you here on the FML.  For that matter, I wish
everyone who chooses to have children was knowledgeable, too!  Hmmm...I
bet ferret owners make great "human" parents.
 
Okay, anyway, I'm rambling!  I just wanted to at least make myself clear on
my last post.
