I beg everyon to please pick your fuzzie(s) from the giving trees! And
I graciously thank those that already have!

If you can buy a few 0.86 cent dog/cat toys from walmart to send to the
fuzzies that would be wonderful. Walmart here keeps the cheap dog/cat
toys in a box by the check out stands. Be sure to choose toys that
would be ferret safe. The toys are lightweight so shipping won't be
much either.
There are several ferrets on the trees that will appreciate any gifts
so even if you can only send one small gift, please do so. You don't
have to fill out the form to send a gift, so if you can only afford one
toy, please pick a tree fuzzie and send it without filling out the
secret santa form. Think about it. If we all send one toy that would be
almost 2500 toys sent to shelters! And for those that can sew if each
of you could send one hammock or sleep sack to a tree fuzzie imagine
how many that would be! And if you can't sew, check Walmart, Joanns,
and other fabric stores for sales on fleece material - they don't need
to be sewn, just cut to ferret blankie size, packed and mailed. They
are lightweight so shipping will be minimal!
If you pick fuzzies from the Canadian shelters be sure to mark the
package as 'gift' and on amount put less than $50 so they don't have
to pay duty on the packages.
