I just got the formal diagnosis of adrenal cancer for one of my ferrets
today (from the Tenn Panel). I am living in CA and my vet has quoted the
surgery at $1,200 - $1,500. When I lived in Seattle this same surgery
would cost me about $500. I am seriously considering going back up there
but I thought I would first ask if anyone knows of a vet in the Bay Area
that has a lot of experience with adrenal surgeries and doesn't charge a
fortune. Also, since my current ferrets are only 4 years old and been
healthy up to now - I've been out of the ferret info loop for a while.
If there are any treatments besides surgery, lupron and lysodren - please
let me know.

Thanks!
peezeel
