Hi,

I know that this isn't the usual ferret problem, but I need some advise.
I am dog sitting..this is day 1..the dog arrived last night. I will have
him for 9 days. Of my 5 ferrets, 4 have known a dog before. My youngest,
9 months old has never seen, smelled nor heard a dog. He is scared to
death. His poops are showing stress today already and his eyes look
horrified if he even hears the dog whine. (The dog doesn't bark). If
you pick him up, he clings to you. We have not put ferrets and dog
together since the dog is a golden retriever and we don't allow the dog
in by the ferrets. All my ferret Bailey will do when let out to play is
run and hide in the couch and won't come out.

ANYONE with any suggestions, please help. I have this dog for 9 more days
and don't want to harm my poor Bailey.

Thanks in advance.
Sue
