Hi all,

On Monday one of my fuzzy girls offered up her jugular for the
Distemper Titer study. My vet sent the blood out, but we weren't
sure if the submitting vet would be notified of the results?

I have a few more fuzzies going in for yearly exams in January &
February and rather than be vaccinated again, we'll be submitting
blood. I've lost the hyperlink to Dr. Ruth's page, can it be reposted
please?

Also, has anyone given thought to a Rabies Titer study? I've had far
more reactions to the rabies vaccination than the distemper. Currently
in RI rabies is only good for one year in ferrets, two for cats and
dogs. Does anyone have a link to a study that states that ferrets get
'dumb rabies' rather than furious? I'm not planning on vaccinating my
ferrets for rabies anymore and would like as much ammunition as
possible to back up my reasoning.

Thanks,
Leslie
