This may have been stated in another post re: petsitters, but just in case
it wasn't...besides your vet's number, make sure you also leave the number
of a 24- hour emergency clinic.  You know how emergencies have a strange way
of happening after hours...also be sure the petsitter knows where your pet
carriers are kept in case they do have to go to the vet, and leave
directions to the vet/emergency clinic.  If an emergency arises, you don't
want them losing precious time dealing with details.  I imagine it couldn't
hurt to leave their vaccination records in case they have to go someplace
they've never been.  And then enjoy your trip :-)
 
I hope Kodo and all the other Michigan ferrets at the Rainbow Bridge are
having a very special celebration.  May we never forget them, and may we
never become complacent...
