Linda, this is really good news. Yes, it is only a small part of what
we requested, but it is still a move in the right direction. Rome
wasn't built in a day, that so we can view this both as a victory and
a start.

And, more importantly, it shows that good things can be accomplished
when people come together to work toward a common cause. Although there
are some people who put a lot of time and effort into this, there are
many more people who showed their support through their emails and
letters to the USDA.

It is a good feeling when people who may differ in their opinions on
some things can work together to accomplish something that will benefit

ferrets.
