        I have a vet saying that the standard ferret rabies vaccination
is so new that it is UNPROVEN and if a ferret bites someone, the ferret
must be killed to determine if it had rabies. He mentioned something about the
rabies virus being alive or dead making a difference. Can someone please
clarify?
