Some ferrets don't care for Laxatone.  I give one of our ferts a teaspoon
of Ferratone about every other day to prevent hairballs.  You may try
that, or mix Ferratone with vaseline and try that.  Also keeping them
brushed helps especially during shedding season.  Hope this helps.
