I have a funny story (at least I think it's funny)

One of our ferrets named Willy is very smart. I noticed that he would
come and lay down by me a lot and I would rub his head and neck. If I
let him into an area where he was not often allowed he would bounce,
jump, and get into everything. I figured he was bored in the play area.
I thought he memorized the toys even though we changed them every week
and became board. I felt so bad for him and I tried to find things
which would stimulate him but he still would come and lay down by me
and I would pet him. Then one week I couldn't be home when our fuzzies
were out to play. I was informed when I wasn't there Willy would run
and play and bounce with the other ferrets. All this time I thought
he was board when he just liked to be by me and get his head and neck
rubbed.
