I found something that my ferrets have been crazy about for the last few
days.  It is easy to make and cheap.
 
I drape a towel over the tub for the ferrets to climb onto.  I put a box
in the tub on its side that is big enough for 3 ferrets to sleep in, yet
allows them to run around the box.  And I unravel an entire roll of paper
towels and insert it in the box.
 
I move the bathroom rug over for me to sit on next to the tub as the
monkeys scurry around, crunch on the paper towel, and bath in their house
in the tub.  I tickle them.  They grab my arm and knaw it and bathe it.
I put them on top of the box.  I crinkle up the paper some more.  They
hear my tone as I laugh as talk happily to them and respond in kind.
 
I ran tubing over the side then so they had a new way to get in and out of
the tub.  More chortles and wild leaping.
 
I came home to find 3 ferrets asleep in their new hideaway.  Good thing I
put newspapers by the side of the toilet for them.  What a cheap and simple
way to make my fur companions happy.  Turn on a trickle of water for even
more thrills!!!
 
People with a million dollars don't have as much fun as I have with a box
and a roll of paper towels.
