Yes, pepto comes in a tablet form and a liquid form.  Most pharmacies and
drug stores carry it.  Carafate taste better, and it may be better to use.
For carafate take 1/8 of the tablet, dissolve in 1 ml of warm water and
give orally 10-20 minutes before feeding.
 
Pepcid, Tagamet, and Zantac can all be used, but as Dr Williams points out
they may make maldigestion/malabsorption worse.
