Leslie,
I'm sorry to hear what has happened to you.  I think that you are giving
your ferrets as much as you can, and that they understand.  I think that
they will be fine, and that you should keep them.  If you have a friend or
extended family member who could come over every so often and give them a
little extra time to play that would help, maybe someone who is a student?
Anyhow, I say keep the ferrets, better they stay with a loving mom than go
somewhere where who knows how they will be treated.  If there is anything I
