Thanks to everyone who send me advice on my carpet digger. I'll
be trying out your suggestions this week.
I was really fretting my first nail cutting experience after
reading about all of the problems people have had. When I lived at home
I was in charge of clipping my dog's nails which was always an
adventure. I used to do it when he first got up in the morning so he was
still a little groggy. I decided to try this on Sam and it worked really
well. I started clipping when he was asleep and managed to cut four
nails before he even woke up. I had two paws done before he started to
fight. It took a couple of nap times to get all of his nails done but it
wasn't any trouble at all. I guess it is kind of rude to disturb his
blissful slumber with nail clipping but I don't think I left any longterm
scars.
        Hope this can help someone!
