To Adam
You may want to try making a little bed for Suzie so she can sleep in that
particular part of the couch. It seems that ferrets may dig in furniture
to try to get a "blanket" over them.

It worked for my Jack. The only drawback was that I had to put a litter
tray at the other end of my couch when I went to work each day because he
became a little lazy about hopping off the couch to toilet. The novelty
didn't last long, however, and he no longer needs his special
bed-on-the-couch and is happy to sleep with his buddies in a hammock.

Good Luck
Shirley
