Well, I was right.  When I saw my Luna and Sola playing with the
calculator, I was right.  Ferret Math!  They were playing and hit the x2
button and now I have 4 ferrets.
 
This afternoon (Friday) I met the most wonderful, beautiful, talented, and
sweet Barbara Ludt of the South Florida Ferret Club and Rescue (NE Branch).
She had contacted me Tuesday about two little guys who needed a home and
she said she thought of me.
 
It really is fate, I think.  I had just had a conversation a few days
before with my husband about bringing in more guys and she contacted me and
said she had two new kits that were in need and I said yes.  So, between
Tuesday and Friday, we sat in anticipation of bringing these guys home.(I
met her at a vet's office she uses and I almost came home with 4 instead of
2 more!  I fell in love with two older ferrets she had with her for shots
as well - oh if we had the room.  These guys were too cute and sooooooooo
sweet).
 
So, when I got home, Luna and Sola and even the cat and dog all met.  They
all inspected each other.  There were a few battles (nothing major - no
screaming or anything).  They inspected each other's digs, and then, they
all got down to some serious chasing, playing, kissing, digging, and cat
chasing.
 
All four played until exhaustion and then went under the coffee table and
snuggled together.  I would say, that all in all, they came together well.
No fuss, no muss.
 
So, just before I wrote this, we put down four tongue wagging tired babies.
 
With that said, let me introduce....(trumpets play)....ORION and VENUS!
 
Give us a few days, and all the pictures will be developed and posted to
the website with attached story.  (All pictures except the one of Barb, who
says I can't show her, but I can show the two guys she's holding!) :-)
 
Loving the fun and excitement - Bridgette, Nutt, Luna, Sola, Venus, and
Orion the only lonely male ferret with mom and dad presiding...
