Hello All,

A simple question, yet one that I, or rather my girlfriend, seeks an answer
to. Is anyone on the FML familiar with any Ferret Oriented organization
in the Toronto area, Clubs, groups, anything at all?

Lynn, working at the Toronto Humane Society, had a visitor the other day, a
distressed ferret owner who had developed a severe allergy to her fuzzy
friends. Her throat would swell, impair proper breathing, a rash would
develop, not very nice to say the least. Her doctor has advised her
(actually told her) to try and find a new home for her two little guys,
apparently it was that bad.

To get to the point, she is willing to part with her fuzzies as long as
they would receive the proper comfort and care. Unsure of the adoption
program at the Humane Society and where her guys would end up, she was
looking for other options and hoped an organiztion specializing in ferrets
existed and could find them a 'dedicated' owner willing to take in two very
friendly, playfull, ( and completely litter trained !!) ferrets.

Teary eyed and hopefull, the woman left hoping for an answer to her dilema.
Dramatic, yes, but these situations tend to be the most difficult to deal
with.

Any help would be appreciated,

john
