Hi all,
this may have already been mentioned, and if so, sorry for repeating it.

I was just cataloging the book "The experimental animal in biomedical
research: v.2 Care, Husbandry, and well-being, an overview by species"
edited by Bernard E. Rollin and M. Lynne Kesel, published by crc press,
ISBN: 0849349826

The chapter on ferrets has a list of their normal "parameter values" like
temp, heart rate etc., and has charts on their serum chemistry and
hematologic values. It also list diseases they are susceptible to and
treatments, good nutrition goals and such. For those of us who are not
vets, this seems like a nice reference to have, especially when dealing with
less ferret knowledgeable vets. The chapter on ferts is 36 pages long.
Hope this helps someone Happy dooking!
