I was once watchign some vet program (I can't remember which one, but he
is the guy that has all sorts of animals on the table during the show).
Anyway, he was showing what he did with his ferret. He had him in his
harness outside and had a long stick with a spoon attached to the end with
some food (laxatone maybe - something yummy though) and he held it right
it front of the ferret and kept moving it forward so the ferret would be
forced to walk forward to get it. I never tried it - so I can't say it
works any better than anything else. I was fortunate to have two wonderful
walkers and a third who loved to sit in my jacket pocket and just watch.
But if you are having problems, it seems logical that it might work.

Good luck.

Amy
