I was told by a friend with 20ish ferrets (and who part time's at a vet's)
that Simple Green is safe.  Wow - it's strong stuff though.  I dilute it to
the smallest dosage (chart is on bottle) and use it when I clean their cage
floors.  I rinse it also.  It's good for cleaning accidents (ya, right- no
accidents there) on the floor, but the scent doesn't discourage them from
going there again. )-:
