Lydia's right. Since many of us are not expert writers, our posts can
sometimes fall to misinterpretation and flaming. We love ferrets and try
to be clear but may still need understanding and kindness. For the most
part, I've noticed there is more of that on the FML than unfair criticism.

May I add to Lydia's post? Readers also do not have the assistance of
seeing a smile or frown behind a statement. If they give themselves time
and thought before replying to something that does stir disagreement,
everyone benefits. Replies can be more helpful and people will feel
encouraged to keep sharing their experiences.

Thanks, Lydia, for your thoughtful insight.

Alice
