hi all,

We have a chlorine swimming pool, and we are thinking of taking one of
the ferrets in for a swim when it gets hot (the one who likes swimming :)

Of course, we will hold him under the stomach, and make sure he doesn't
get any water in his eyes or mouth.

I know it may dry out his fur, so I am planning on rinsing him with warm
tap water afterwards, and if he is too cold / uncomfortable, he will be
able to get out. Does anybody have any information or experience that
the chlorine will be harmful?

I'm after facts or experiences, not opinions :)

(sorry if that sounds blunt, but I don't want 50 emails saying "I wouldnt
risk it")

thank you :)
shona
