You might find that Yancy has no further interest in electrical cords.  I
once had a puppy that bit through a cord - I could see that she got shocked
by the look on her face and how she jumped away - plus, maybe there was a
little popping noise.  Believe me, she never went near a cord again.  Of
course, with a ferret, who knows?  or wants to take the chance.  It's a
miracle the little sweetie survived it.
