Hi Georgette
I suggest that you discuss with your vet the possiblity of cleaning
Gushi's teeth without anesthesia.  While a more thorough cleaning could be
conducted if Gushi were anesthetized, your vet should be able to scale his
teeth reasonably well without it.  If you do opt for anesthesia, please
make sure that your vet uses Isoflurane- it is the safest alternative.
