I have been reading the FML for quite a while now and have never written
publicly...I, typically, respond to people privately if I can help or
offer some support.

As of late, however, I have fallen behind some in sending my heartfelt
sympathies to all of those who have recently suffered a loss in their
homes and hearts. So many have gone to the bridge, and I have found
myself overwhelmed with emotion and tears on many a day of reading posts.
To all of you that have suffered the loss of a fuzzy companion I would
like to send you a little piece of my heart to help fill the hole in
yours.

There are so many words I would like to say to help ease perhaps the
slightest bit of sadness each different yet tragic situation entails. It
seems there must be a fuzzy fert shortage for so many to be called all at
once, they now all keep each other company and watch over all they leave
behind, for the time being, together. They are with you always, just not
in the way that you are used to.

I have lost so many of my family in the past few months, both fuzzy and
human, for each one I still try to understand why...all I know is that
they now all dwell in an eternally healthy and happy environment. We will
see them again, and, in the meantime, can be comforted in the knowledge
that no matter how unfair, untimely, or unexpected the situation, none of
them will ever suffer from any form of unpleasantness again. Until we
can see them again, they will always be around us.

With all my heart,
Melissa
