It is with a heavy heart I announce the Passing of Cher. One moment
this morning she was happily climbing thru her cage tube and a hour
later, I found her dead, on the bottom of the cage.

Cher or Cher-Cher, was about 3 1/2 to 4 years old, She & Sonny came to
live with us, about 2 years ago, as a rescue I did at the local Marine
Base. Their Dad left them at the Animal Control; after his wife left him
(I guess they were her's). How sad. She was the sweetest Little Ferret
this side of Rainbow Bridge. Not a naughty bone in her body. She was so
pretty, she reminded me of my Scarlett O'Ferret. She love being held and
gave lots of great kisses. Sonny & Cher lived outside the main group,
but I could tell, they didn't really want to be part of a crowd. But
after 4 months ago, Milo, another sad rescue, was invited to come live,
in their home with them. It was a start of a wonderful Three-Some. They
never tired of each other. Right now it's quiet, but Milo isn't leaving
Sonny alone and they are taking comfort in each other.

I hope Sam, Claudia, Moose, Snow Flake & Scarlett O'Ferret met her when
she arrived. I wouldn't want her to be alone.

She was laid to rest beneath a potted corn plant, on the patio.

All the Remaining Closet Thieves, the Cats & Taz, Joe (son) & I miss her

Til we are all together again, Sweet Cher, Our Love goes with you.
