yes, I know I am very behind on my FML's but I had to comment about the
treatment from the pharmacist filling the ferret prescription...
 
I have a chain pharmacy across the street from my house (Medicap pharmacy
on Shore Drive).  The owner/pharmacist is one of the nicest, kindest men
that I know.  When Silk began having seizures and placed on phenobarbital
last year, we began to take her prescription there.  One day he asked who
Silk was and I told him it was of my shelter ferrets.  That started a 30
minute conversation about her disease, diagnosis and condition.  Now
everytime I go in there - he asks how his favorite ferret client is...he
has even met her when one day I brought her over there.
 
I'm very glad that instead of being close minded that my pharmacist is a
caring professional regardless of whether his clients have two or four
feet.  Do I recommend him to everyone?  You betcha!
