hi val, i never use squeeky toys as ferret toys , i had a major problem
with a rescue jill she was in a run with another couple of rescues
waiting to be re homed, my lot were in there run as normal & played quite
happily with there tubes & other toys, but a couple of the toys had
squeekers in them

the poley jill in the other run changed in an instant the second she
heard the noice, running around & being very aggresive lunging at the run
mesh, but most scarey was the change towards the other ferrrets attacking
them grabing them around the front of there necks, this went on for
around 10 mins.

i had to remove all the toys from the other run & allow her to calm down
before i could get anywhere near the 2 shocked ferrets she had attacked,
it was a horrible experience

i spoke to a gamekeeper friend who said rabbits squeel underground & this
noice may have been enough to awaken the killer in her

but even so all wasnt lost i managed to re home her to a friend & she
still has her

kay
