Lupron does come in a couple of different forms. There's a 24hr version,
1-month and 4-month depot. I'm not aware of a 3 or 6 month version, but
that doesn't mean there isn't such a variation.

What dosage works is dependent on the ferret and probably with what's going
on in the affected adrenal gland. I use the 1-month depot on mine. With
Spaz, 100mcg was enough to eliminate all his symptoms within three weeks of
his first injection. His coat grew back completely and looks better than
ever. In Beasley, 100mcg for four months straight did absolutely nothing
for him. I increased his dosage to 300mcg and just a few weeks ago, after
his second 300mcg dosage, his hair started coming back. On the other hand,
Dr. Weiss recommends 500mcg of the 1-month depot and 2000mcg of the 4-month
depot.

If you want more info, go to my adrenal/insulinoma web site (see my
signature below for the URL). There are a number of articles on Lupron
usage by Dr. Weiss and Dr. Murray.

For the ferrets,
Mike
