Please do not knock facebook. Do you realize how many people who own
ferrets have been helped by other ferret knowlegible people who are
having a ferret crisis when there are NO veternarians available
especially late at night or Sundays??!!! There is always someone on
the ferret facebook group pages there and willing to help with advice
to get you through the night with your ferret till you can get it to
a vet!!! I have met so many wonderful other ferret owners through
facebook and many shelters depend on raising funds through their own
various fundraisers and auctions. Maybe instead of complaining about
facebook, one should jump in and join and see exactly what it is about
and what you can do to help other ferret owners especially in their
time of need! There is always someone on even in the wee hours of
the morning/night to help! Just be cautious and careful about your
passwords and never use the same one for everything!
