Salutations and Joyifications!

Just wanted to clear up some confusion about the new and improved PML.

1. It will be sent out on no set schedule - expect an issue whenever I get a
round tuit.

2. The PML's intent will remain the same as it was when it started up about
a year ago - a way for me to keep up with mail while maintaining some
semblance of sanity. In NO way is it intended to compete with, nor to draw
subscribers away from the FML and the other ferret-related mailing lists
that are available. You'll continue to find posts on them from Tater, Odie.
Mee Maw and me that will not appear on the PML.

3. Yes, the PML will go beyond the joy of ferrets and will explore the joy
that can be found in all aspects of existence. Your posts on the subject
are welcome - and will be published - unless they are entirely too strange
and off subject. I ask that all members of the PML be tolerant and
receptive to the views of others.

4. Yes, I've probably sprung a serious leak in my brainpan by taking the
PML public and inviting contributions. I'm not too bright sometimes. Then,
again, it might prove to be something of value. We'll just have to wait and
see.

5. The address for subscriptions and submissions to the PML is:
[log in to unmask] All other correspondence should be sent to
[log in to unmask]

This brings us to the address change. Please start changing your address
books to [log in to unmask] We'll be at [log in to unmask] for
awhile yet, but we'll probably be shutting that address down in a few
months.

<Stuff> Well, I'm all out of stuff for tonight. Need to take my flu-ridden
self to bed and try to dream up a way to publish a mailing list on AOL
without having to type every address one at a time.

Many much loves,

Paw Paw
