Hi all,
Just a quick thought about trying to get pictures of your FAST MOVERS.
Before the ECE slowed Bandit and Kirby down, we purchased the frame grabber
gizmo "SNAPPY" made by PLAY, Inc. This unit is just a little larger than a
TV remote control and plugs into your printer port. (I have an
IBM-compatable PC, I don't think it works on a MAC.) The software that comes
with this allows you to retouch the "snapshot" you have captured. It also
comes with morphing software but ferrets seem to do that by themselves so I
haven't played around with that yet. The Snappy allows you to "capture"
images off your TV, VCR, laserdics and best of all Camcorders! This rig
costs $199.00. Instead of trying to pose the fuzzies while you are laughing
hysterically, just tape the confusion and mayhem and later freeze-frame the
image of your choice and then paint out (retouch) the area of the photo that
just happens to have the wife in the frame with her hair in curlers.(Save
the original, good for future use, such as cards and newsletters). But
remember, she can get images off old video tapes of you, too! I've tried
using regular 35mm photo's. Konica has a deal at our local grocery store,
get your photo's developed normally and for $3.99 you get a 3 1/2" diskette
with the viewing software and photos on it. This is OK as long as your
photos are OK. My ferrets don't stop long enough to get them on film
clearly.

Dooks to all, and thank you,all who have sent along advice and prayers with
this horrible ECE Bandit and Kirby have. Wouldn't wish this on anyone.
It's worse than a some biological weapons I've heard about!

   Sincerely,
Bruce S.
