Thank you, Danielle, but I *won't* be adopting Jojo after all :(  I still
want to... so very much... but I can't.  I have two ferrets, both ADV
negative, and I just can't risk their health.  If things were different I
wouldn't give it a second thought.  I'd make the drive and bring her to
(what would've been) her new home.  Sigh.  I've loved her ever since I
first saw a photo of her.  Her very sad story immediately brought tears to
my eyes.  She was extremely underweight, malnourished, and anemic at the
time.  She looked horrible and was filthy, too, but there was something
about that tiny little face and those still bright eyes... She has such a
beautiful little face with such soulful and expressive eyes.
 
I knew there was a chance, albeit slight, that's why I wanted her tested
from the beginning.  But still...
