Hello Everyone,
 
Many of you have expressed your outrage at the ridiculous statements made
by Audubon Society in opposition to the ferret sanctuary proposal in San
Francisco.  I urge you to write to the National Audubon Society, at:

After all, you are not welcome here with your caged, neutered and indoor
ferret, but you and your outdoor unaltered cat are acceptepted with open
arms apparently.
 
And California ferret owners face fines, the loss of their pet and even
jail- time.  Thanks to the Audubon Society's desire to please a sister
organization, CA Waterfowl and a rogue governmental agency the Department
of Fish and Game.
 
Please write and if you are a member of the Audubon Society and you also
own ferrets, consider resigning that membership-- your dues are better
spent with an organization that bases it's positions on science rather
than on politics.
