Willard Scott mentioned FERRET EXPO '93 on the TODAY SHOW. He also
held up a ferret calendar published by Ferret Works, P.O. Box 2463,
4100 Alhambra Ave., Martinez, CA 94553; 510-228-3619.
 
The American Ferret Association (AFA) has a limited number of these
calendars for sale. I'm sure they will have some out at FE '93
tomorrow [Frederick, MD--call 301-424-0199 or 301-898-3228 for
directions]. Oddly, the AFA price is $4 less than I payed for my
personal copy of the Ferret Fancy calendar, as it is called. Unless
someone raises the price to the more realistic $12 which I forked
over, the current calendar tariff is $8 from the AFA, which may be
tax deductible since AFA is non profit. Consult your accountant or
other accounting professional ...
 
BTW, FE '93 has gotten good press in the Washington Post. This is
a first. Normally the WP has nothing good to say about ferrets (and
minimal accuracy at that).
