Condolences to those with lost, sick, or angeled cat confusers...

(Ain't much that'll confuse a cat, but a ferret certainly is one of them!)

Hershey: When I'm on the couch, he will slink across the very front, then
suddenly pop up in front of my face, mouth slightly open and *sparkle* at
me--you know, that look they give you that reminds you of the sun,
suddenly shining off of cut crystal.

Fuzzer: When he climbs on the couch, walks over to me and flops down,
rolls on his back and goes to sleep. He snores.

Add-A-Kiss: She comes up and very gently touches my leg, asking to be
picked up, then she gives me kisses. He doesn't want a snack, she just
wants to give me a kiss--or twelve.

Rhun: She comes up and sniffs my whole face...then doesn't bother getting
down just yet...waiting for me to pet her for a bit.

Chewy: He follows me around, waiting for me to pick him up and hold him
like a baby that needs burped. He doesn't do it all the time--just once
in a while, so it becomes a special activity for us. He's the one that
tore my hand up the day I rescued him. Hasn't bitten me since.

Bump: Brings *me* one of his snacks!

Ghost: He hires a tow truck to get himself in front of me, then hops up
and down on his front feet, with that happy doggie face of his. He even
comes over and lets me play with him, when you just *know* that he'd
rather be eating something!

Jessica: Waits for me when I go into an FFZ, then begs to ride on my
shoulder, where she whispers things to me. Rides all around the house
for about 10 minutes, before asking to be let down to play.

Stuffy: Just allowing me to keep him alive. He knows I don't want him to
go, so I think he actually does his best to hang around a while longer.
I guess he figures that life here isn't all that bad if you're a ferret.
To be honest, though, I think he's more afraid that if he decides to go,
he might come back as a CAT!
