You know, on reading it again I wasn't happy with part of a message
that I had in yesterday's FML. I was looking at the opposite extreme
of an issue (the one of not providing vet care and of not providing
preventative med), but even though I haven't heard a complaint (yet ;-) )
I think that as written it may hurt some instead of urge and for that I
apologize if it did so. It's a painful issue for me, which I guess that
post reflected, rather than a minor one, because I simply have
encountered too many people who wrote for advice too late and sought help
from their areas' vets too late -- some of whom then expected the vets
to be able to do something when the lack of earlier care had created an
irreparable health crisis. Anyway, if I accidentally hurt anyone I
apologize. I don't personally think that I worded that well, though
I know from private notes that some folks who are in tight straits
economically and have said so recently on-list understood exactly what
I was saying and no one complained to me.
