Sure you do.  You just did.
 
And you have done so before.  Many of us on the FML have.
 
It's not exactly a new or unusual route for the FML.  I think it is just
more noticeable when suggestions involve a person's own way of posting.
 
Furthermore, I do think that most of them are only that -- suggestions.
I mean, Bill is the ultimate one who decides so if he says it goes in
the FML then it goes in.  That's no matter if any one of us: you, me, or
anyone else finds unappealing about it for whatever reason, and of course
that is the way it should be with him using his rules and his common
sense and fairness as moderator.  So, by definition of effect such posts
only have the power of suggestions, anyway.  Besides, kindly worded stuff
amounts to suggestions instead of telling someone to do something -- also
by definition but this time definition through method used.
 
It is not like this has been something overwhelming enough to warrant
making people angry, or fearful, or over-acting in any way.  What have
been posted have been the comments of people who were finding the list
losing its balance and joy, and working to try to bring in more of what
we personally find adds life and lift to the list while letting people
know what was causing us to not read posts or sometimes the whole FML.
It doesn't help anyone if people don't read, so knowing that info
ultimately helps those who need their posts to be read.
 
Sometimes suggestions are thought about and taken, sometimes not.  It
doesn't matter who -- besides Bill Gruber -- makes the suggestions.
That's just life.  No biggie.
