Last night within 30 minutes of receiving his yearly rabies/distemper
vaccine (3rd year) my ferret buddy Cocoa went into anaphylatic shock and
almost died.  After some intensive veterinary care which lasted overnight,
he is gaining strength with every mini-meal of A/D, ferretvite, banana and
water.  It was touch and go for a while because he would not stop vomiting.
 
Please remember to stay at the vets (I personally recommend 30 minutes) for
any type of reactions from vaccines.  And always take time out to stop and
smell the fuzzies, you never know how long they may be with you.
